TiO₂ Production Processes
Chloride Process
The chloride process produces high-purity rutile TiO₂ with excellent optical and durability properties. Generally preferred for exterior coatings and applications requiring superior weathering resistance. Produces less waste but requires high-grade titanium feedstock.
